To enjoy the signature TEACURRY Masala Chai at its best, use one heaping teaspoon (2 grams) of this ginger-based chai per cup of water. You can also use a strainer or a regular filter. Steps to prepare this 'Detox Chai', are as follows.
- Bring water (160 ml) to a rolling boil (100 ˚C) and allow it to sit for 30 seconds.
- Add one heaping teaspoon (2 grams) of this ginger-based chai, cover it and let it steep for around 3-4 minutes. In case you desire a stronger taste than steep the tea for 1 more minute.
- Strain the chai and you can pour it in a cup to serve for your sips.
- You can also add milk and sugar or honey to give it an authentic Indian Chai taste.
- Teacurry Teas are garden-fresh 100% Natural TEAS so you can use the same strained tea leaves for a second steep. You can steep the tea for 5 minutes this time and then serve.
