Creating an account is simple, and will occur automatically as you place your first order. Once all the items that you'd like to purchase are in your cart, please click "checkout" and answer "first time customer" when asked if you'd shopped here before. This will present you with an option to enter your shipping and billing details, and select a password. Submitting the order will then automatically create a new account that you may access anytime with your email address and the password that you select.

If you can't recall your password, or need to reset it, we'll gladly email it to you. Please visit the forgot your password? page on the account login page. The missing info will arrive within seconds. If you've requested a password reset email, but haven't received it, please be sure to check your Spam and/or Junk folders, as our message may have been sent there.

All of your order history is securely stored on our server. If you want us to refresh your memory about what you ordered last week, last month, or even last year just visit order history on your account page. Click on each order to view the items selected, the price paid, or the address where the order shipped.

To place an order, simply add all desired items to your shopping bag by clicking on the "bag" icon in the product listing. Once complete, hit the 'checkout' button to enter in your billing and shipping info and complete the order. Our 'Quick Shop' makes this process even simpler. Hovering over an item's index page image will bring up the Quick Shop button. Clicking it shows you the quantity menu, and you can add the items directly to your cart without visiting the individual page. This works from your Order History too!

Thanks again for your recent order. While it remains unprocessed, you may easily update the address where the items you selected will arrive. To do so, please log into My Account, and go to My Orders. Here you'll find a listing of your orders. Click the order number to update the shipping address of any order that we've yet to process.

Change your mind? Cancelling your order is a piece of cake. Visit the order history page in your account. You will see a listing of recent orders with the 'click to cancel' option next to each that has yet to be processed. If the status of your order says 'processing,' then unfortunately the order is beyond cancellation. It had already been boxed up and moved to our shipping dock. However you can apply for an exchange within a 7 day period of receiving the order.

If your order was not able to be delivered and the carrier returned it to us, we'll email you as soon as the package arrives back to our warehouse. Our 'order returned - update address' email that we'll send you contains instructions for correcting the address and reshipping your order, or canceling it and receiving a refund.

We ship orders to most countries using Priority Mail International. Deliveries outside the United States typically arrive within 1-2 weeks. Shipping rates are automatically calculated in checkout based on weight and distance. To see an estimate of what these charges may be for your country, please use our shipping page. Once your order ships, your order history page will contain its tracking details. This info also appears on the right hand side of all our pages, provided you haven't logged out. Click 'track' for more info. International shipments and sent with DHL Global Mail, and are delivered by your local mail carrier. If a delivery attempt had been made, but the package could not be delivered, then it will reside at your local post office, where you may pick it up anytime. Additional taxes or duties may be due upon delivery.

Weekday orders placed before 3:00pm are shipped the same day. Orders placed after 3:00pm are processed and shipped the next business day. Orders placed after 3pm on Friday, or on the weekend will be processed and shipped the following Monday. FedEx SmartPost is our low/no coast shipping option, but carries the longest time-in-transit of 3-8 business days. FedEx or USPS Ground estimates shipping days based on location to our warehouses. The number of days next to our Ground Shipping options are estimates only, and do not guarantee delivery in that number of days. FedEx Second Day aims to arrive on the 2nd business day after the order is processed. FedEx Next Day arrives the business day after the order is processed. We aim to carefully package your selections to ensure they survive the grueling handling in transit. Despite these efforts, you may receive a damaged item. We operate two warehouses, in New Jersey and California, and always aim to ship products from the one that's closest to you. Unfortunately, this is not always possible, and occasionally your order may take longer to arrive than is usual. Missing your order? Take a deep breath and shoot us an email with your order number, and we'll gladly assist. First we ask that you check to ensure your order was sent to the correct address. We'll happily help file a claim with the carrier. Often times, the package is left in a place that may not be overly apparent to prevent it from 'walking away.' Or the package may be left with a neighbor for safekeeping. If this isn't the case, we will happily send a replacement to you.

Strange Routing | Slow Speed - With SmartPost shipments, you may follow your package updates and notice that it has gone a strange way, or seemingly away from your address during its journey. These packages must be sorted through certain facilities, and this may be why you see a strange direction on your tracking details. This process may also add additional transit days to your order. Be assured once sorted, it will arrive soon.

We want you to be happy with all the items you ordered, and will gladly accept back any item within 30 days of purchase. The exceptions to this rule are tea samples and Signature Blends. See Return Eligibility for more info. To access mailing directions and begin your return, please visit the returns and claims section of your account page and select the eligible items you wish to return. All products, including tea, must be returned in original packaging. When returning, you may elect to complete the return with a carrier of your choice, or print a FedEx label for $6.99, which will be charged to the same form of payment used for your order. If you're returning opened tea packages or teaware items that can't be resold, we'll be imposing a 35% disposal fee to cover the costs involved. Please see the "disposal fee" FAQ for more details.

If an item arrives damaged, please initiate the return process via the returns and claims section of your account page. Please indicate that the item was damaged and that you'd like a replacement. We will provide a UPS return label, and once the damaged item is received, will gladly ship you a replacement.

If an item was shipped to you incorrectly due to company error, we will swiftly send you a replacement. Please visit the returns and claims section of your account page and indicate that you received an incorrect item. If we request that the erroneously shipped item be returned, we'll gladly provide a UPS shipping label and direct you to nearby drop-off locations to make this process quick and simple.

When filling out the return form online, you are able to choose whether you'd like to receive a gift certificate, replacement, or refund back to your card (or Paypal account). Please note that some refunds may take up to 3 days to process, depending on your bank or card institution. Additionally, replacements can only be provided for the same item. If you'd like to exchange items, please request a gift certificate and place a new order.

All of our teas come with temperature and steeping time recommendations written on the label. For leaf quantity, the general recommendation is one teaspoon of loose leaf tea per cup of hot water (8oz). How many cups do our sizes make? You'll be pleased to know that a pound of tea (16oz) makes about 200 cups. The 3oz package makes about 38 cups, and the sample pouch, about 10 cups (depending on type). The cost-per-cup appears next to each packaging size we offer. We hope you may be pleasantly surprised that our fresh, artisan teas may cost so little to enjoy.

The ingredients of our various teas and blends appear on the individual page that describes the product as well as its packaging. Simply scroll down below the customer reviews. However, many of our teas contain just one ingredient: tea leaves. In such instances, a list of ingredients is not provided.

We unfortunately do not offer free samples of our products. However, we make discovering our teas very easy and inexpensive with packages that may introduce you to loose teas. Most samples contain 0.8 ounces of tea, enough to steep about ten cups. We recommend trying samples of unfamiliar tea to ensure that you like it before committing to a larger quantity. Some lighter varieties of tea contain 0.4 ounces per sample. However, these still provide about five cups of tea to ensure you have ample opportunity to decide if you like it. We also offer these small, inexpensive samples of almost every tea in our catalog. These allow you to try a few cups and decide if you wish to purchase a larger quantity of a particular tea. However, because they are so small and inexpensive, these are not eligible for return or exchange because the cost associated would outweigh their value. From time to time, you may be receive an email with a free sample of a tea we think you will enjoy. To view it, you must be signed in. This is the reason the link directs you to an "account" page. Once you've signed in, you'll see the free sample in your cart.

Here at Teacurry we are disappointed in the efforts of the Fair Trade program. For example, Fair Trade coffee growers receive only 5 cents more per pound of coffee over market price. This trivial amount is meaningless when it comes to gourmet tea, where a pound of product costs five to fifty times more. In lieu of forcing our suppliers to join the Fair Trade program, we've devised our own means of supporting the people who grow our teas, called the Roots Campaign. Please visit to learn more.

Our teas are sugar-free, gluten-free, dairy-free, nut-free vegan, and in virtually all cases, contain zero calories (as long as you don't add milk and sugar). They're created in a facility devoid of nuts and gluten-containing ingredients. The only exceptions are teas which contain sugar sprinkles or chocolate chips. Our chocolate chips are dairy-free, but do contain soy lecithin. Our teas are quite good for you too! See our health benefits page for details.

Nutritional information for brewed tea depends on factors such as: the amount of tea steeped per serving size, the temperature of the water, what is included in the blend, etc. For this reason, we don't necessarily have readily available nutritional panels for our teas. For our selections of black, green or white tea, in which the only ingredient is tea leaves, the brewed teas contain zero calories, and less than 1% of any other nutrient. This is in part due to the fact that we don't actually consume the tea leaves. Herbal blends which include fruit pieces range, but may contain 5-9 calories for an 8oz cup on average. Blends which contain inclusions like candy cane pieces or chocolate chips range at about 8-12 calories and between 1g and 5g of carbs per 8oz cup. Matcha is a different example because we do consume the leaves. We'll be happy to provide more information upon request.

Our teas contain no ingredients that would make them unkosher. In most instances, they are simply dried leaves, with nothing else added. In cases of added flavors, these come from natural sources, with no ingredients that would render them unkosher. However, to certify our teas as kosher is a very expensive undertaking, needing rabbis to visit China, Japan, India and all the other countries from which we source our teas. So the complicated answer to your question is we're not kosher certified, but there's nothing in our teas that would render them not kosher. Hope this helps.

Our Iced Tea pouches contain the same wonderful teas that we offer as loose tea, or in teabags. The only difference is the packaging. Each iced pouch contains about 0.65 - 1oz of tea, depending on type. They're designed to be the perfect amount to brew a quart-size pitcher (4 cups). We recommend the cold-brew method: simply place 1 pouch in your pitcher of water, and store in your refrigerator overnight! Awake to perfectly brewed, cold iced tea! The tea bags sold in your local market typically contain low-quality tea grades called fannings or dust. These yield dark color, but very little flavor. In contrast, our gourmet bags contain the same quality of full-leaf teas as do our loose tea offerings. All varieties of our loose teas presently come in bagged form to ensure you have access to quality tea when preparing loose varieties may not be convenient.

We're happy to help you select teas for brewing kombucha. Any green tea, white tea or oolong tea will make a good base for kombucha. If you're selecting black teas, we recommend avoiding any that contain added flavors, like Earl Grey.

Tea doesn't go bad if stored in a moisture-free environment. However, over time it will diminish in flavor. We generally recommend consuming tea within one year of purchase. However, the specifics will vary according to variety. The Japanese green teas are most delicate, and may begin to show age after only six months. Black and oolong varieties will stay fresh much longer, and may continue to delight for years to come.

f you're looking to replicate the taste of a tea you've enjoyed in a Chinese restaurant, the possible options are two: oolong or jasmine. We hope you may enjoy our versions of these teas as much, and hopefully much better.
